These two maps were created for Selvedge Magazine, blending detailed illustration with rich textures and hand-lettered elements to bring each theme to life. The first map, featured in the Winter White issue, explores the diverse types of lace found across Europe. Its warm and neutral tones align harmoniously with the magazine's curated palette for that edition, capturing the elegance and subtlety of the craft.

The second map was created for the Silk Road issue and takes readers on a vibrant journey along this historic trade route in Uzbekistan and its surroundings. Inspired by the bold patterns of traditional textiles, it features a predominance of deep blues accented with rich reds, reflecting the cultural essence of the region. Both maps showcase emblematic icons and intricate textures, celebrating the artistry and storytelling inherent in these historic themes.
