During my stay in Japan, I had the wonderful opportunity to witness the enchanting cherry blossom season on the streets of Tokyo. Inspired by this beautiful experience, I created a map highlighting the main spots across Japan where you can enjoy sakura in full bloom. To complement this, I designed a matching map for momiji season, featuring the autumn foliage and the progression of colors as the season unfolds.
Both maps share a minimalist color palette and a careful balance of space and texture to guide the eye effortlessly through each location.
